Cairo preparing for the cold

Hi.  My mom told me that it will be very cold outside soon.  I can hear the wind blowing.  I've decided I should just curl up on Mom and Dads' bed and take a nap.  My brother and sister get to stay home with me tomorrow, since it is so cold.  Mom says she wishes she could just curl up and wait for the cold to go away too.  Maybe she will feel sorry for me and give me another can.  Don't I look like I need more padding to keep me warm?  Mom days no, I don't.  I do not think she knows how cold cats can get.

Hi.  My name is Cairo.  I get bored sitting at home, so I thought I would start a blog.  Don't expect anything fancy, since this is my first blog.  (My mom's first blog too.  She's typing for me since my paws do not fit on her keyboard well.)

I came to live with my current family after my mom went away.  A bad car hurt her.

I have a new mom now that I follow everywhere because it is now her job to feed me.  Dad feeds me too, to keep me quiet.

I have one cat sister, Lady.  She is older than me, but is half my size.  We have debates on who should run this household.

I have one sister and one brother who are people.  They are nice to me too.  They give me hugs.

My primary interests in life are food, getting hugs, and more food.  Not a bad priority list for a life.  I am not yet two, so I am still a young cat.  Mom tells me I'm big enough at 14 pounds, but I tell her I can always get bigger.
